Viewing a Photo Zone from the Web

A Photo zone is a shared photo album. There is no limit to how many photos are shared, and you can browse thumbnails, zoom into individual photos, run slideshows, and download (with permission).

How to Use the Zone and View Photos

This section will outline all of the features of a Photo zone, from top to bottom.

The Top Bar

At the very top of the zone there is a navigation bar:

Tips – Roll the mouse over this link for specific info about each screen.
Select – Clicking "All” will select all photos. Clicking "None” will deselect any selected photos. "Selected” photos can be downloaded together or viewed in a custom slideshow.
Preview – Clicking this link will switch from the current page to the Preview Page.
Thumbnails – Clicking this link will switch from the current page to the Thumbnails Page.
Download – Clicking "Original” will download any selected photos in original quality. Clicking "Small” will download any selected photos in JPEG format. Note: if no photos are selected, clicking Download will download all photos in the zone.
Slideshow – Clicking "All” will run a slideshow of every photo in the zone. Clicking "Selected” will run a slideshow of only selected photos in the zone.

Thumbnails Page

This is the first screen of any Photo zone. Every shared photo is displayed as a thumbnail and can be viewed at a glance by using the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen. Double-click thumbnails to view them at a larger size, or "select" multiple images so they can be downloaded or run in a slideshow as a group; hold down the CTRL key and click thumbnails to select them.

Preview Page

This page lets you zoom into individual photos. You can still browse through and "select” thumbnails in the scrolling row above the previewed photo.

Slideshow Page

This page will run a slideshow of every photo, or just the ones you have "selected”. You can set the transition delay, skip to the next/previous photo, and pause the slideshow at any time.

Download Page

When you "select” photos for download, you have the option of saving the originals or JPEGs. JPEGs are smaller in file size and may not be of equal quality if the owner has shared high resolution images. The Download Page displays a summary of photos to be downloaded and gives you last-minute control to ditch any unwanted photos.
