Updates
Every once in a while, when you launch Qnext you will be prompted with an update screen Qnext Version Control. This is completely normal; it’s just our way of making the product even better and releasing new features. Note: Our update process usually takes less than a minute from start to finish.

Just press the Proceed button to start the update; if you do not press this button within 30 seconds, the update will proceed automatically. When the update is complete, you will be asked to restart Qnext. Just press the Restart Qnext button to do so. Note that this will not restart your computer; it will only restart Qnext. Qnext will automatically restart if no action is taken for 30 seconds once the update is complete.
To learn more about the changes in the latest update and relevant information, Go to Recent News that are located in the Qnext Desktop > Help.
Updates Troubleshoot...
In rare cases, some users may experience difficulties when updating Qnext from an older version. This could happen due to many reasons. If your update fails twice and your internet connection is active, the best way to solve this issue is to download the latest version of Qnext from our website and install it.
During the installation process, Qnext installer will inform you that it will be uninstalling the existing version of Qnext from your computer. In one of the steps, Qnext will provide you with the option to uninstall Qnext, which is selected by default and that it will not uninstall user data that was stored with your older version. Make sure that you don’t checkmark the option to uninstall user data; otherwise it will delete all the IM history logs and previously transferred files to you.
If you remove user data during the uninstallation, when the installation process is completed and Qnext runs, you will have the option to sign in to external IM protocols followed with the Qnext sign in dialog. Select the link Retrieve, enter the UID number and password and you are good to go.
