Contact Status
Right click on the icon on the top left of the Contact Panel (next to your name) to set your Status as it will display your status to your friends (Available, Away, N/A (Extended Away), DND (Do not Disturb), Busy and BRB (Be Right Back). This status selection also applies to your friends on external IM services. In the same menu you can also Manage Privacy List set Contact Options and view your connection status.
Click Enter status message to insert a message that your friends will see.
