Users in a large networked office may have to configure their connection slightly differently than home users. We recommend trying to configure your Qnext connection using the automatic and custom methods described in this section; however, if unsuccessful, you may need to try something else.
Access the Qnext Connection Wizard by clicking on the Connection Light at the top of the Contact Panel. Click the link to run the connection wizard and press Restart when prompted to do so.
Start by clicking the Custom button.

On the next screen, click the Proxy button.

Configuring your connection in this manner is a fairly tech-savvy process. We recommend asking your IT personnel for assistance if you are not familiar with proxy settings. Your network administrator can easily fill out the necessary information on the following screen and click Next.
We recommend clicking the link to test incoming connections on the following screen. The results will tell you if your configuration was successful. If it was, follow the next two steps until you can click the Finish button. Pressing Finish will restart Qnext with your new settings and optimized connection.
