Video Conferencing
To participate in a Video Conference you must have a webcam, microphone and working speakers. Up to four Qnext Friends can participate on a single Video Call. Please note that at this time, Qnext does not support Video Calls to other IM networks.
Sending
To send a Video Call invitation, simply right click on the desired recipient’s name, and select Conference > Video or double-click the Video Conference
icon at the Qnext Desktop (Explorer) or click on this icon in the Contact Center > Messages. Wait until they accept the call, and then begin seeing and speaking to each other.

Receiving
When someone call you using a Video Conference, you will be notified with: a sound; a pop up event on the screen for 30 sec, a flashing Q icon in the system tray, and Incoming Call icon flashing beside the contact’s name.
Double-click the Qnext flashing icon or single click on the pop-up alert to act on this invitation. Once the Video Conference window is open, click the Answer incoming call
icon to accept the call, or the Cancel
icon to decline the invitation.
Once connected, begin speaking to each other. You can choose the option the contact which sends you a Video Call invitation to jump to the top of your contact group. This could be made from File > Contact Options.

Adding/Removing Users
You can host a Video Conference with up to four Qnext users, including yourself. Once the call is active, just drag and drop Qnext Friends from your Contact List into the Qnext Video Conference window. That’s it! They will receive an invitation and choose to accept or decline.
To remove users from an active Video Call, roll the mouse over their image and click the X that appears. They will instantly be removed from the Call.
Note: Only the Video Call initiator has the ability to add and remove Friends from the Call.
Troubleshooting
If your image is not appearing or your sound is not being heard, first make sure that you have installed your microphone and/or webcam properly.
It is possible that Qnext has not detected your hardware. To fix this, just click the Tools menu, and select Options. Select the Devices tab and click Detect button. You will be notified of the successful devices detection. If you continue to have problems, please refer to the manual that came with your hardware and make sure that it is properly installed.
